We are writing to you because we have a new one-hour Tamil Listening Evaluation Task, and we would like to see if you are interested. This project is being run in conjunction with a partner company. Here are some details:

Participants need to be native in Tamil dialect and be born and living in and are from one of the regions below:

Dialect Region	Main regions/cities
Northern	Chennai, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai and Vellore Districts
Central	Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Cuddalore and Villupuram Districts, Madurai
Southern	Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli and Kanniyakumari Districts
Western	Salem, Dharmapuri, Coimbatore and Nilgiris Districts

If you are interested, please fill in the Expression of Interest form below within 12 hours as positions are limited. Please make sure you are able to complete the task before filling out the form. 

·         In this task, you will be listening to segments of  “synthesized speech” - that is, computer-generated speech.

·         The task is opinion based. Your job is to judge how natural each segment sounds on the scale of 1-7.

·         This is a one-off task. The task will last approximately 1 hour and you will be paid $4 USD per hour. The task is set to start sometime in December. You will be given 2-3 days to complete the task. Please make sure that you are able to participate and complete the task before you apply.

·         We only pay through PayPal/ Payoneer and NO other payment method is provided.
